| Santa Caterina
Valfurva is situated in Alta Valtellina in the province of Sondrio
- Lombardia, at 1738 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale
mountain range, in the heart of the famous Stelvio
National Park. It's one of the largest and most interesting
national parks in Europe. This beautiful little resort
offers a unique show of naturalistic, historical and alpine interest.
Already famous a century ago for the presence of mineral waters, it ownes a big part of its fame to internationally known skiers and mountain climbers who were born and have grown up in this lovely and wonderful place, as many say " the last white paradise". |
